Online Mandi is a direct farm-to-buyer marketplace for India. Farmers, livestock owners, equipment dealers, and rural traders post their items, and buyers contact them directly through chat or phone. We do not act as a middleman, do not handle payments, and do not take any commission on sales.

Yes. Creating an account, posting listings, browsing the marketplace, and chatting with buyers or sellers is completely free. We do not charge listing fees, commissions, or subscriptions.

No. Anyone can browse listings without registering. You only need an account if you want to post a listing or start a chat with a seller.

All 28 states and 8 union territories of India. You can filter listings by state and district to find sellers near you.

After logging in, tap Sell in the menu. Fill in the title, category, price, quantity, unit, contact number, address, state, district, and at least one clear photo. Tap Publish and your listing goes live immediately.

You can upload up to 5 photos per listing. Listings with clear photos receive significantly more buyer responses than listings without.

Yes. Go to My Listings, open the listing you want to change, and tap Edit. You can update the title, price, description, photos, and contact details at any time.

Listings stay active for 30 days from the day you publish them. After that the listing expires, but you can re-activate it from My Listings without re-uploading photos.

Open the listing from My Listings and change its status to Sold. Sold listings are hidden from public search but stay in your account so you can re-list similar items easily.

Use the search bar at the top of the home page, pick a category chip, or filter by state and district. You can combine all three — for example, search "tomato" within Maharashtra → Pune.

On any listing detail page you will see a Chat button and the seller's phone number. Tap Chat to start an in-app conversation, or call the number directly.

Some sellers mark their listings as Negotiable, in which case the price is open to discussion. Other listings are at a fixed asking price. Always confirm the final price in chat before paying.

No. We are a discovery platform; the goods are owned and shipped by individual sellers. We strongly recommend inspecting the goods in person or via video call before paying.

No. All payments happen directly between you and the seller using UPI, bank transfer, cash, or any method you mutually agree on. We never process or hold money for either party.

Delivery is arranged between the buyer and the seller, often through local transport, courier, or self-pickup. Make sure both sides agree on delivery cost, packaging, and timeline before paying.

Report the seller or buyer immediately through the contact page. Share the listing URL, the username, and any chat screenshots. We investigate every report and ban accounts proven to be fraudulent.

Open the Profile tab from the menu and tap Edit. You can change your full name, bio, profile photo, and location.

Tap Forgot Password on the login screen and follow the OTP-based reset flow.

Go to the delete account page or open it from the Profile section. We remove your personal data in line with our privacy policy.

Your phone number is shown to anyone who opens one of your active listings, because buyers need a way to call you. If you do not want to share it publicly, leave the contact phone field empty and ask buyers to use in-app chat only.

Yes. The Online Mandi Android app is available for direct download. The web app and the Android app share the same account, so listings posted on one show up on the other instantly.

Not yet — we are working on it. Until the iOS app is released, you can use the mobile web version on iPhones and iPads with no loss of functionality.
