Online Mandi is a free, direct-to-buyer marketplace built specifically for the Indian agricultural community. Our platform helps farmers, livestock owners, equipment dealers, and rural traders sell their produce and goods to buyers across India — without paying commissions, listing fees, or relying on traditional middlemen.
For decades, Indian farmers have lost a significant portion of their earnings to layers of intermediaries. A tomato grown in Maharashtra travels through commission agents, wholesalers, and retailers before reaching the kitchen of a buyer in Delhi — at three or four times the price the farmer received. Online Mandi was created to give farmers and small rural sellers a direct, transparent channel to buyers, so more of the final price stays with the person who actually produced the goods.
Our marketplace supports a wide range of categories that reflect real rural and semi-urban needs: fresh vegetables and fruits, grains and pulses, dairy and livestock animals, agricultural fertilizers, farm equipment and tractors, electronics, household furniture, and even agricultural land. Every listing is posted directly by the seller — there are no resellers, no inflated prices, and no surprise charges.
No listing fees, no subscription, no commission on sales. Farmers keep what they earn.
Buyers reach sellers directly through in-app chat or by calling the listed phone number. We never insert ourselves into the transaction.

Online Mandi started with a simple frustration: a small-holder farmer told us he was selling onions at ₹6 per kilogram at the local mandi, while the same onions were retailing in city supermarkets for ₹40 a kilogram. The gap was not value added — it was access. We set out to close that gap by giving every farmer the same kind of always-on shop window that big retailers take for granted. What started as a prototype is now a growing community of farmers, traders, equipment dealers and buyers from across India.
